The pop-punkers of Sleeping With Sirens are headed out on a special U.S. ‘Chill Out Summer Acoustic Tour’ with supporting guests The Rocket Summer and Kulick.

Shows will kick-off on July 8 in Columbus, Ohio and the 26-date trek will make stops in cities like New York, Seattle, and San Francisco before wrapping up in Chicago, Illinois on August 9. Within the past year, the group has played over 100 shows alongside Good Charlotte and Rise Against in support of their fifth studio-record, Gossip.

Along with the tour announcement comes a teaser of their new song, “Another Day,” which features Bryce Avary of The Rocket Summer. Additionally, late last year, Sleeping With Sirens dropped a 3-song EP, Live & Acoustic From NYC, which features acoustic, stripped-down renditions of tracks “Legends,” “Gossip,” and “One Man Army.”

Gossip, 2017,  follows a handful of hit albums including the 2015 release Madness and 2013’s Feel. Frontman Kellin Quinn and his crew, who are best-known for metalcore tracks like “If I’m James Dean, You’re Audrey Hepburn” from With Eyes To See And Eyes To Hear and “If You Can’t Hang” from Let’s Cheers To This, are ready to hit the road again. The band is constantly touring, known for regular appearances at festivals like Warped Tour and Reading & Leeds, along with headlining shows after receiving the title of “Artist Of The Year” by Alternative Press in 2014.

Quinn told BANG Showbiz that although Gossip was more of a pop record, the band has decided to head back to their heavy-rock roots on their next record. Bassist Justin Hills described Gossip as a mid-tempo record, which the band wanted to have in their catalog to be able to tour with a variety of different bands. However, their time with pop music has come to an end.

“If you listen to our first record we’re a breakdown emo band, the second record we started going more pop punk, the third was more rock, then ‘Madness’ was a back step, ‘Gossip’ is a complete departure and our next record is going to be more rock again,” guitarist Jack Fowler said.
