The highly-anticipated boxing match this September between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, according to sales data from Ticket Club.
The Premier Boxing Champions game between Robert Easter Jr. and Mikey Garcia next month also scored a spot on the list. Other notable sports events include the MLB All Star Game, which clocked in at No. 5, along with the 2019 NHL All Star Game, and a handful of upcoming baseball games this weekend.
Comedian Sebastian Maniscalco took the No. 2 spot, followed by Ellen DeGeneres, who just announced her first comedy tour in 15 years. The Eagles & Chris Stapleton, as well as country artists Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, & Jon Pardi, Jason Aldean, Luke combs, & Lauren Alaina, and Keith Urban & Kelsea Ballerini tickets sold well due to ongoing tours. Raggae/Latin trap singer Ozuna made the list for shows this fall, along with the George Strait, Lyle Lovett, & Robert Earl Keen concert in December. Tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September remains a hot commodity.
Tina Fey’s Broadway show Mean Girls and the top-charting show Hamilton were also among the day’s best-sellers.
