Baseball took the top two spots on yesterday’s best-selling events list for the MLB All Star Game and Home Run Derby next week, according to sales data from Ticket Club.
The U.S. Open Tennis Championship followed for the Men’s Finals/Women’s Doubles Final in September. Other notable sports events include the International Champions Cup, Premier Boxing Champions, and a couple of Green Bay Packers games this fall. Baseball took a few spots on the list for games Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim v. Los Angeles Dodgers, Houston Astros v. Chicago White Sox, and Boston Red Sox v. New York Yankees.
Elton John clocked in at No. 4 for his Farewell Tour, and Hank Williams Jr., Ed Sheeran, and Kenny Chesney with Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay tickets sold well due to upcoming shows on tour. LoveLoud 2018, a festival designed to raise money toward LGBTQ charities, was a hot commodity of the day. This year’s second festival will feature performances from headlining acts Imagine Dragons, Zedd, Mike Shinoda, Tyler Glenn, Grace Vanderwaal, Vagabon, and A.W.
Broadway shows Hamilton and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child were also among the day’s best-sellers.
