Boxing scored the No. 1 spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list for the match between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin this September, according to sales data from Ticket Club.
The MLB All Star Game and Home Run Derby followed, along with WWE: Monday Night Raw, and a handful of upcoming baseball games. Football also made the list for games Denver Broncos v. Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers v. Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys v. New York Giants, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish v. Michigan Wolverines.
Shakira clocked in at No. 3 for her upcoming El Dorado Tour. Hall and Oates with Train, Journey and Def Leppard, and Luis Miguel tickets sold well due to ongoing tours. This year’s Farm Aid, which will feature performances from headliners Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews, remains a hot commodity. Additionally, the Teen Choice Awards, set to take place this August in Los Angeles, and Springsteen on Broadway made the day’s top 10.
