The legendary Paul McCartney stole the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list for his recently announced ‘Freshen Up’ tour, according to sales data from Ticket Club.
This year’s Farm Aid followed, with performances from Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, and Dave Matthews this September in Hartford, Connecticut. Pearl Jam, Journey & Def Leppard, Eric Clapton, Rebelution, Steven Marley, & Common Kings, and Kenny Chesney with Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, and Brandon Lay tickets sold well due to ongoing and upcoming tours. Kid Rock’s Fish Fry Festival, Coachella 2019, and Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra also made the list.
The MLB All Star Game clocked in at No. 6 for the event next week. Other notable sports events include the MLB All Star Home Run Derby, the International Champions Cup, and baseball games Los Angeles Dodgers v. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and Houston Astros v. Detroit Tigers.
Springsteen on Broadway was also among the day’s best-sellers.
