College Football, NHL Hockey Lead Sports-Heavy Onsales

The week begins by covering the wide sports spectrum, with the day’s batch of new tickets on sale featuring everything from college football to professional basketball and even junior hockey. Leading the way is the University of Texas – El Paso for releasing a bunch of tickets for their Miners football games, including individual tickets and multi-game packages. The Miners begin their home campaign September 1 against Northern Arizona.
Hockey fans can snag a variety of tickets today, including home NHL games for the Blackhawks and Red Wings. Joining them are the Tri-City Americans junior hockey squad, who have nearly 30 home games to choose from. Preseason NBA basketball and select Harlem Globetrotter games are also spread throughout the sports-heavy onsales.
A number of theatrical productions are also worth noting on today’s listings. Beloved Broadway shows like The Lion King and Les Miserables have performances in various cities, along with local ballet companies’ performances of The Nutcracker.
