Heart’s ‘Love Alive Tour’ To Feature Joan Jett, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow

Heart is returning to North America this summer for a summer tour with an all-star lineup of Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Elle King, and Lucie Silvas.
The Love Alive tour is set to kick-off in St. Louis, Missouri on July 9, followed by shows in cities like Montreal, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Charlotte, Albuquerque, and Tacoma. Hollywood, California will round-out the trek early September. Opening acts will vary per date.
This will be the Wilson sisters’ first tour since family drama ensued back in 2016, nearly breaking up the band. Following the incident, Ann and Nancy toured separately, but the duo are back together for a tour that they hope will bring a “hopeful, positive, and universal vibe.”
“I think this year is a good year to show the collective impact of some powerful women in music,” Nancy said of their tour mates. “We would usually steer clear of the female-centric concept, but in the light of current events it seems like the right statement at the right time.”
Heart, best-known for ’70s hits like “Barracuda,” “Love Alive,” and “Crazy On You,” released Beautiful Broken in 2016. ‘Bad Reputation” singer Joan Jett & The Blackhearts last dropped Unvarnished in 2013, and Sheryl Crow released Be Myself in 2017. Brandi Carlile, the Grammy-award winning artist recognized for last year’s record By The Way, I Forgive You, will join the star-studded show.
