Folk-rock star Melissa Etheridge will head out on a U.S. tour this spring in support of her 15th studio record, The Medicine Show.

The tour will commence this March with a two-day show at the Southwest Florida Events Center in Bonita Springs, Florida. From there, she’ll head to cities across the country like New York, New Orleans, Augusta, Des Moines, and Lancaster before wrapping-up in Chandler, Arizona mid-July.

The Medicine Show drops April 16 via Concord Records. Eldridge explained that the record deals with themes of renewal, reconciliation, compassion, and healing.

“Through the songs she processed the deep fears and hurting she saw in the nation on collective and personal levels; ‘Shaking’ about national anxiety, ‘Here Comes the Pain,’ personalizing the opioid crisis, the unifying ‘Human Chain’ about the hope for healing, and the rocking, anthemic ‘Love Will Live,’” a press release states.

Additional tracks to look out for on the record include “Last Hello,” “Wild Lonely,” and “Faded By Design.”

“Calling the album The Medicine Show puts straight up, front and center, that this is about health, wellness, cannabis, this new thought, new paradigm, however you want to talk about it, however you want to understand it,” Eldridge said of the album. “It influences every song on the album. We’re not afraid of this anymore. We’ve come a long way.”

The LP will follow 2014’s This Is M.E. and 2012’s 4th Street Feeling. Throughout her 30 + year career, the Grammy-award winning singer is known for smash hits like “Ain’t It Heavy,” “Angels Would Love,” and “The Weakness In Me.”
