Queen and Adam Lambert dominated yesterday’s best-selling events list following their performance at the 91st Academy Awards, according to sales data from Ticket Club.
Lady Gaga, who also performed at the Oscars – giving an intimate performance of the smash-hit “Shallow” with Bradley Cooper, made the list for her Las Vegas residency “Jazz & Piano.” The K-pop boyband BTS sold well for their recently-announced stadium world tour, followed by Carrie Underwood, Bob Seger And The Silver Bullet Band, Celine Dion, Mana, Elton John, and Loretta Lynn’s All Star Birthday Concert. Four-day passes to this year’s CMA Music Festival were also a hot commodity.
Basketball tickets were among the day’s best-sellers for New York Knicks games against the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs, as well as the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament. WWE’s Wrestlemania XXXV and Monster Jam also scored spots on the top events list.
