Michelle Obama Takes No. 1 Spot On Monday Best-Sellers

Michelle Obama’s ongoing book tour in support of her memoir Becoming took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, sales data from Ticket Club reveals.
The 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament Final Four clocked in at No. 2 for the National Semifinals this April, followed by the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, 2019 Masters Golf Tournament and World Championship Boxing. A handful of basketball games sold well, along with the UFC match between Jon Jones and Anthony Smith and boxing match where Canelo Alvarez will take on Daniel Jacobs.
K-pop boyband BTS were a hot commodity of the day since the group recently announced a stadium world tour. Artists Rob Thomas, Lady Gaga, Queen and Adam Lambert, and Pink tickets sold well due to upcoming shows on tour. Three-day passes to this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival were also among the day’s top events; the fest will feature Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, and Tame Impala.
