Houston Livestock Show, Rodeo Scores Top Spot On Weekend Best-Sellers

The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list for the performance by George Strait, Lyle Lovett, and Robert Earl Keen last night, Ticket Club sales data reveals.
The CMA Music Festival followed; this year’s fest is set to feature Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Florida Georgia Line. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which will include sets from headlining performers Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, and Childish Gambino, was another hot-selling ticket of the day. Artists Elton John, The Rolling Stones, and Aerosmith also sold well due to upcoming shows on tour.
Basketball clocked in at No. 2 for rounds 1 & 2 of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Other notable sporting events include the UEFA Champions League Final, the SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament, and the boxing match between Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs. Hockey made the list for the game between Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers, as well as the basketball game New York Knicks v. Los Angeles Lakers. Cleveland Browns season tickets were another hot commodity.
Broadway’s Hamilton also scored among the day’s best-sellers.
