‘The Lion King’ Takes No. 1 Spot On Monday Best-Sellers

Broadway’s ‘The Lion King,’ which is currently playing at New York City’s Minskoff Theatre, took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, Ticket Club sales data reveals.
The New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival, set to feature a variety of artists like The Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, and Santana, clocked in at No. 2. Imagine Dragons frontman Den Reynold’s LoveLoud Festival made the list, as well as Lollapalooza. Artists Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Queen and Adam Lambert, and Jennifer Lopez also sold well.
Basketball remains a hot commodity as March Madness begins; multiple rounds of the 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament scored a spot on the best-sellers. Other notable sporting events include baseball games Los Angeles Dodgers v. Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox v. Toronto Blue Jays, hockey’s Vegas Golden Knights v. Detroit Red Wings, and the UEFA Champions League Final.
