Lollapalooza Music Festival Takes Over Tuesday Best-Sellers

Chicago’s annual four-day music festival Lollapalooza, which just announced its 2019 lineup, took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, Ticket Club sales data reveals.
Metallica clocked in at No. 2 for their performance with the San Francisco Symphony this fall in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their show back in 1999. Artists Jennifer Lopez, George Strait, Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, and Eric Church followed due to upcoming shows on tour, as well as Celine Dion’s Las Vegas residency. Woodstock 50, which also announced its lineup today, made the list for the 50-year anniversary festival in August.
The 2019 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament remains a hot commodity as March Madness continues. Other notable sporting events of the day include WWE’s WrestleMania, the International Friendly, Miami Open Tennis 2019, and the NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships in 2020.
