The upcoming Metallica concert with the San Francisco Symphony this fall took the top spot on yesterday’s best-selling events list, Ticket Club sales data reveals.

George Strait and Blake Shelton followed for a show at Gillette this August. Artists Billy Joel, Michael Buble, Pink, Garth Brooks, and Luis Miguel made the list due to upcoming shows on tour, as well as Celine Dion’s Las Vegas residency. Morrissey, who just announced a residency at the Lunt-fontanne Theatre, which will kick-off a special Broadway series, also sold well. As festival season approaches, Lollapalooza and Woodstock 50 were hot commodities.

The 2020 NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships clocked in at No. 4 for the event next March. Other notable sporting events include ongoing NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, the International Friendly, and World Boxing Champions. The basketball game between New York Knicks and Utah Jazz also sold well, along with the college football match Georgia Bulldogs v. Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Broadway’s Hamilton was among the day’s best-sellers.
