Punk-rockers of Social Distortion and Flogging Molly are headed out on a co-headlining tour later this summer, bringing The Devil Makes Three and Le Butcherettes along for the ride.

The duo will kick-off the run in Irving, Texas on August 13, followed by shows in Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Toronto, Portland, Sacramento, and Berkeley. They’ll make stops at outside venues like New York City’s Rooftop at Pier 17, Boston’s Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion, and Chicago’s Huntington Beach Pavilion at Northerly Island before wrapping-up in Mesa, Arizona.

Social Distortion will celebrate their 40-year anniversary this year and are currently working on a new LP – their first since 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. The group, which formed back in 1979, is best-known for ’90s hits like “Story of My Life,” “Ring of Fire,” and “Ball and Chain.” While frontman Mike Ness told Consequence of Sound it would “be nice” to release a record this year, he doesn’t want to rush into anything, noting that “this record is really important for our career.”

Flogging Molly, on the other hand, released Life Is Good in 2017 and has been touring in support of the record over the last few years. Their recent record follows 2011’s Speed of Darkness and 2008’s Float. The celtic-rock band, made popular by hits like “Drunken Lullabies” and “Devil’s Dance Floor,” are also set to make an appearance this year on the Salty Dog Cruise, along with acts like Frank Turner and Pennywise.
