Corrosion of Conformity Taps Crowbar For Summer 2019 Tour

The heavy metal group Corrosion of Conformity are headed out on tour this summer and are bringing the sludge metal band Crowbar along for the ride.
The A Quest To Believe, A Call To The Void II Tour will kick-off on July 26 in Poughkeepsie, New York, followed by gigs in cities like Milwaukee, Boulder, Tucson, Jacksonville, Omaha, Austin, and Salt Lake City before wrapping-up in Providence on August 25. Throughout the trek, they’ll receive support from Lo-Pan and Quaker City Night Hawks. Ahead of the dates, Corrosion of Conformity are slated to perform two shows in May, and they’ll appear at MegaCruise 2019 mid-October.
Corrosion of Conformity will be touring in support of their 2018 record No Cross No Crown, which is the band’s first album with guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan in over a decade. The LP follows 2014’s IX and Eye For An Eye from 2012. They have made a name for themselves in metal music with tracks like Deliverance’s “Albatross,” “Clean My Wounds,” and “Seven Days,” along with Blind’s “Vote With A Bullet” and America’s Volume Dealer’s “Stare Too Long.”
Crowbar has not released an album since 2016’s The Serpent Only Lies, which follows 2003’s Equilibrium. The group is best-known for late ’90s and early 2000’s hits “Planets Collide,” “Existence Is Punishment,” and “All I Had (i Gave).”
