TicketCity has acquired Fandeavor.com, a fan travel website, according to a press release the Texas-based ticketing company sent out late last week. The acquisition means that Fandeavor customers will have access to tickets, accommodations and experiences for more than 100,000 events across the globe.

“Through this acquisition, we’re confident that Fandeavor’s loyal global customer base will continue to seamlessly access the best selection of tickets and places to stay at their event,” says Zach Anderson, President at TicketCity.

Fandeavor.com was started in 2012 by Tom Ellingson and Dean Curtis, two former Zappos.com employees. Fandeavor makes it easy for customers to plan and book travel packages to live events, ranging from the World Cup, Olympics, Super Bowl, to F1 races.

“This acquisition validates the incredible work of our team over the past seven years and gives our customers access to the best tickets, experiences and customer service that TicketCity has spent 30 years building.” said Tom Ellingson, Co-Founder of Fandeavor.

TicketCity, which bills itself as the largest privately held ticketing company in the world, has been in operation since 1990 and has served over a million customers in its lifetime with some 4 million event tickets.
