Country artist Rodney Atkins was scheduled to perform in Oshkosh, Wisconsin over the weekend, but the concert has been rescheduled to later this year.

Atkins would have performed on Sunday at the Menominee Nation Arena with Drew Baldridge opening the show. However, the gig has reportedly been rescheduled to avoid interfering with other festivals in the city this summer.

“We have been continuously encouraged by the community to offer a performance that does not interfere with an already tight event schedule in Oshkosh, including the recent Country USA, Rock USA, and EAA Airventure 2019,” Menominee Nation Arena general manager Jason Fields said in a news release, noting that the arena understands and empathizes with fans who had already purchased tickets.

“A mutual agreement between Menominee Nation Arena and Rodney Atkin’s marketing team was made to officially move the concert to a non-conflicting date of October 24, 2019.”

Atkins is currently on tour supporting his 2019 record Caught Up In The Country – his first since 2011’s Take a Back Road. The LP includes the title track with The Fisk Jubille Singers, as well as “Thank God For You” and “All My Friends Are Drunk.” He is set to appear at the Northeast Missouri Fair next tomorrow night, followd by the Country Fanfest in Utah, the Wisconsin Valley Fair, WestFest in Texas, the Central Carolina Fair in North Carolina, and Fryeburg Fair in Maine, among others.
