Mumford and Sons To Play At New Cancun Concert Vacation

Mumford and Sons are headed out on their first-ever destination event in Cancun, Mexico, which will offer late night sets on the beach, pool parties, and adventures.
In an attempt to make it up to fans in Mexico, who haven’t seen the band perform too much in the country, Mumford and Sons will host Agora Del Mar, a three-day show from February 27 to 29 at the Moon Palace. They’ll be joined by indie-rockers Jenny Lewis, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, and Phoebe Bridgers.
“We are curating an event with all our favourite bands in Cancun,” Mumford & Sons said in a statement. “We will play two unique sets over the three-day event and there will no doubt be the usual collaborations with the artists we are so excited to share the weekend with. It’s no ordinary gig so come and find us down by the Caribbean Sea if you can.”

Throughout the all-inclusive getaway, presented by CID, other artists will take the stage like Dermot Kennedy, The Tallest Man on Earth, Gill Landry, and Kevin Garrett. Guests will also be able to participate in “additional adventures” during their stay.
Mumford & Sons are currently touring in support of their third studio album, Delta. Earlier this month, they kicked-off another leg of their tour in Los Angeles, California, followed by gigs in San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. Next week, they’ll make a brief stop in Mexico – in Guadalajara and Monterrey – before wrapping-up at the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October.
