Secondary ticketing site SeatGeek has announced a partnership with Arrive, the powered parking company, to help ease traffic at live events.

Eventgoers will now have the ability to find and purchase parking ahead of an event to help them reach their seats on time and alleviate massive amounts of traffic. Arrive will be available for SeatGeek’s 50 most popular venues, including the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. They’ll also have the opportunity to take advantage of GamePlan, Arrive’s new integration with Waze, which allows eventgoers to add their event to their Waze Planned Drives in order to plan ahead for traffic.

SeatGeek’s Director of Partnerships, Lee Moulton, described how the company aims to “empower people to get out to a show or game,” but parking is “one of the biggest pains in getting people to a live event.” By pairing with Arrive, SeatGeek hopes to eliminate the hassle involved with the travel for a live event, Lee said in a press release. Similarly, Dan Roarty, President and COO of Arrive, believes that the amount of “congestion around the venue” means that fans are missing out on enjoyment.

“We understand that a positive fan experience starts at home, well before anyone departs for the venue,” Roarty said. “We’re thrilled to partner with SeatGeek to make parking simpler and more hassle-free for all.”

This is the latest move for SeatGeek; late last year, the company introduced a partnership with Google, which allows users to add their tickets directly into Google Pay alongside their credit cards and boarding passes. They also partnered with Snapchat in 2018 to allow eventgoers to purchase tickets and checkout through the app.
