The Syracuse-Clemson football game this weekend will bring the biggest crowd the school has seen in years.

On Monday, the school announced that it was expecting the game to sell out and had less than 175 tickets remaining, Syracuse.com reports. Back in May, the school reportedly sold out of single-game ticket options, so the only way to score a seat is to purchase season tickets. Syracuse athletic director John Wildhack said that the school is trying to sell the remaining seats, and may make them available as single tickets this week.

The sellout crowd will be “the largest crowd we’ve had in decades,” Wildhack notes, since the last sellout crowd at Syracuse’s Carrier Dome was for a season-opener game against Tennessee back in 1998. While it’s already a big deal, the excitement is heightened as students celebrate Syracuse’s first home opener and its Homecoming game in one night.

While Syracuse may have lost to Maryland 63-20 over the weekend, they’re still ranked No. 3 in the ACC Atlantic, right behind Clemson and Boston College. Following the home opener on Saturday, they’ll take on Western Michigan, Holy Cross, North Carolina State, Pittsburgh, and Florida State, followed by Boston College, Duke, Louisville, and Wake Forest in November.
