Thousands Left Out Of Harry Styles $25 Ticket Album Bundle Presale
Former One Direction-hearthrob-turned-solo artist Harry Styles announced a special one-off show to support his new album Fine Line this week, along with the option to score presale tickets for only $25. Now, fans are feeling cheated after all the tickets were scooped up in minutes.
Styles announced the special one-night only at Los Angeles’ Forum on December 13 yesterday. The presale was set to take place this morning, and those who preordered his album received a code.

Styles is the latest artist to take advantage of the album bundling tactic – something that has been criticized over and over in the industry. Artists include a copy of their record with each ticket purchased. Fans are frustrated that the marketing team made it seem like buying merchandise would solidify fans’ chances at scoring tickets — this wasn’t the case.
It seems like the system was flawed from the start. Fans complained that when they originally signed into Ticketmaster as early as 5 a.m., they were placed in the back of a queue, even if they didn’t have a code. Yet, because of this error, people were able to get into the queue even if they hadn’t purchased anything beforehand. After 2,000 people purchased tickets, the presale was sold-out.
Fans took to Twitter to express their frustration:
I’ve literally had the Ticketmaster page open for Harry Styles presale since 8am and I have 2000+ people in front of me?? OK if I don’t get a ticket I’m hibernating until 2020

Fine Lines, Styles’ sophomore solo record, is due December 13 – the same night as The Forum show.
