Motley Crue Dominates Monday Best-Selling Events

One of the most iconic 80’s rock bands is not-so-surprisingly breaking the rules to go on tour and topping the best-selling events list. Motley Crue took all but one spot on Monday’s best-sellers, according to Ticket Club sales data. Chicago, Arlington and Charlotte shows took the top spots. The Crue will tour with fellow 80’s icons Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

Motley Crue’s tour five years ago was billed as their “final tour.” They even signed a first-of-its-kind cessation of touring agreement, supposedly preventing them from ever hitting the road again. It appears all four members have had a change of heart and are ready to bring their show to fans new and old. The “Kickstart My Heart” rockers are enjoying renewed popularity with the release of their Netflix biopic The Dirt earlier this year.

The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl was the only other event that crossed into the best sellers. Big Ten champions the Ohio State Buckeyes will face ACC champions the Clemson Tigers. Both teams head into the game undefeated. The two teams met in the Fiesta Bowl three years ago, where Clemson shut out Ohio State.
