Kevin Parker, the psychedelic mastermind behind Tame Impala, will head out on tour next year to support new music.

Last month, Tame Impala announced a handful of dates with Clairo, stopping in Los Angeles and San Francisco, but the summer 2020 trek will be more expansive, crossing North America. It’ll kick-off at Chicago’s United Center on May 29, followed by gigs in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Houston, and Denver, making stops along the way at venues like Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Bell Centre in Montreal, the BOK Center in Tulsa, and Salt Lake City’s Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington will round-out the trek on August 7. Perfume Genius will provide support on all dates.

The Slow Rush, Tame Impala’s fourth studio album, is due February 14. The LP will include previously-released singles “Posthumous Forgiveness,” “Borderline,” and “It Might Be Time,” which follows 2015’s Currents. Over the past few years, Tame Impala has become one of the top touring acts, garnering attention with “Let It Happen” and “The Less I Know The Better.” Parker headlined last year’s Coachella and Boston Calling, and performed at a handful of other festivals.
