The K-Pop group Ateez sold-out all of the U.S. dates on their 2019 tour, and now, they’re heading to arena-sized venues in 2020.

Last year, the group sold-out small theaters like Los Angeles’ Globe Theater and Warsaw in Brooklyn. To meet the demand, the group announced another round of dates – set to cross Europe and the U.S. this spring. However, shows immediately sold-out in Los Angeles, Newark, Dallas, Madrid, Amsterdam, and Moscow, with the remaining shows close to a sell-out. Ateez were forced to open up more tickets to these shows.

The outing will officially kick-off on March 14 at Madrid’s Palacio Vistalegre. From there, they’ll head across Europe, hitting Amsterdam and Warsaw, before crossing overseas to the states. The U.S. tour will pick up on April 17 at Newark’s Prudential Center, followed by gigs at Chicago’s Wintrust Arena, the Infinite Energy Center in Atlanta, and Dallas’ Theatre at Grand Prairie before wrapping-up at The Forum in Los Angeles.

Since the group last performed in the U.S., they signed a deal with the U.S. label RCA Records, who called them “a frontrunner in the K-pop space.” They also just dropped the EP Treasure Epilogue: Action to Answer, which follows Treasure EP.3: One To All. In February, they’re set to release Treasure EP. Map to Answer in Japan. So far, they’ve made noise on the U.S. charts with tracks like “Say My Name” and “Illusion,” as well as new hits “Wonderland” and “Answer.”

K-Pop has become more and more popular in the U.S. after the group BTS paved the way by breaking the record as the first K-Pop group to sell-out a U.S. stadium. They were followed by girl groups BLACKPINK and ITZY, as well as a handful of boybands like NCT-127, Day6, SuperM, and Monsta X. A new report by Quartz shows that a majority of single-tickets sold over the past five years through Vivid Seats went to K-Pop fans, proving their dedicated fanbase.
