The Minnesota Twins are introducing the “2020 Twins Pass” to help fans gain access to regular season home games this season.

Through the new pass, fans will have the ability to access regular season home games, aside from the home opener, for $45 a month. After purchasing a pass, fans have the option to get into any game of their choice and walk around the ballpark without a seat. They can also upgrade their seats on a game-by-game basis. Dustin Morse, the Twins’ Director of Communications, called the pass, “literally one of the best ticket deals we have ever had.”

According to a statement from the team, fans’ credit cards will be charged each month during the regular season, with charges appearing on the credit card “on or about the 24th or each month.” However, if the buyer doesn’t want to keep the subscription, they are free to cancel at any time ahead of the next billing cycle.

Fans can only purchase tickets through February 12 online, as they will not be available at the box office outside of Target Field.

The Twins’ first spring training exhibition game is set for February 22 against the Pirates. The regular season will officially begin on March 26 against the Oakland Athletics with a home opener on April 2 against the A’s. That week, Oakland will play the Athletics for their first game available as part of the 2020 Twins Pass.

This news comes amid the MLB’s lowest attendance record in 16 years. Teams have been offering initiatives to boost attendance, including the Seattle Mariners, who just announced a special $5 ticket deal for 10 games this spring ahead of the new baseball season.
