The ticketing world will converge on Los Vegas in August, and the ECHL is joining the party. The hockey organization announced it would be hosting its annual league meetings concurrent with Ticket Summit and the Association of Luxury Suite Directors (ALSD) conferences, taking place at Aria on the Las Vegas strip from August 15-18.

“We are excited to bring our ECHL Hockey Summer Meetings back to Las Vegas in 2021 in conjunction with the ALSD and Ticket Summit Conferences,” says ECHL Commissioner Ryan Crelin. “It has been a difficult year, but this event gives us the opportunity to get back together as a League, as well as join up with other industry professionals from the other conferences, as we continue to make strides against the pandemic and return to normal for the 2021-22 Season.”

Ticket Summit, the annual trade show for ticketing professionals, announced its return for 2021 earlier this spring after having to cancel the 2020 event due to the pandemic. It is joining the ALSD conference, which brings in a huge contingent of team and luxury suite professionals, to form one of the most substantial conventions for live event ticketing professionals in history, taking place just as the restrictions on live event attendance are being lifted across the United States.

“This show is the largest ticketing conference in the world,” says Don Vaccaro of Ticket Summit and CEO of TicketNetwork. “With both buyers and sellers of billions of dollars of entertainment events at one show, this will be a fantastic opportunity. We welcome all the stakeholders in sports to get together in Vegas see all the new technology everyone has been working on for the past year in one exhibition hall. This is an unbelievable opportunity for all in the sports and ticketing industry to come together to improve the fan experience, economics, and distribution of inventory.”

Organizers say that the event has seen high demand since its announcement, with over 1,000 passes already sold and 100 exhibitors booked for the affair. Content and additional details for the conferences are expected to be announced soon.

The ECHL meetings alone are expected to bring in another several hundred live event professionals to the event. Pass prices and hotel details are available at sportsticketingsummit.com. The full press release announcing the ECHL meetings is available here.
