The Salt Lake County Center for the Arts supports the vibrant arts and culture community through World Class performing arts venues, a state-of-the-art ticketing system for, a robust public arts program, and the Cultural Facilities Support Program.
Abravanel Hall

Based in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Abravanel Hall is aplauded for its acoustical excellence and is an architectural icon in the City. The Hall is adorned with more than 12,000 square feet of hand-brushed 24-karat gold leaf and its grand four-story lobby offers stunning views of the city. The newly redesigned public plaza complements the initial architecture while modernizing the space. Abravanel Hall is also the home of the 27-foot-tall Olympic Tower statue by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly.

Capitol Theatre
The Janet Quinney Lawson Capitol Theatre has been at the center of the Salt Lake arts community since 1913. Its rich architectural features and over 100 years of outstanding theater, dance, opera, music, vaudeville and film performances have made the Capitol Theatre a treasured historic landmark. With recent renovations including improved seating, a remodeled lobby, and a newly installed orchestra pit, the Capitol Theatre building is now merged with the Jessie Eccles Quinney Ballet Centre.
George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater
The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater is Salt Lake City’s newest performing arts center, scheduled to open in fall 2016. The state-of-the-art theater will feature the 2,500-seat Delta Performance Hall, aEccles-Theatern intimate black box theater, event and rehearsal spaces, a 6-story grand lobby, an outdoor plaza, and a galleria which will connect the theater to the adjacent 111 Main office tower. The theater’s various spaces will host national touring Broadway, concerts, comedy and other popular entertainment events, as well as innovative local performances and community events.
